Angulo's going to force Canelo to prove how good his defense and counter punching is against a pressure fighter.

Alvarez has a solid jab, good defense, and has deceptive speed, but he stands straight up, suffers from defensive lapses, and lacks ring generalship. He's an economical puncher so he's going to have to be sharp in 3 areas if he wants to win in semi-impressive fashion:

        1) Jab

        2) Counterpunch

        3) Control the pace (through a combination of 1, 2, and intelligent use of footwork)

From what I gather, Canelo fancies himself a boxer; because of this, he's going to try to implement all 3 areas (if he had a different mentality, he could really impress by walking Angulo down ala Kirkland).

If Angulo successfully avoids 1, 2, and/or 3, he puts himself in great position to score the upset. Angulo's pressure and body work are things that Canelo hasn't felt too often and won't appreciate (especially considering Alvarez' stamina issues). That body work will open things up for him offensively and where the KO can come. Alfredo can turn this into Broner-Maidana 2.

What is hardly mentioned is that Angulo can be made to quit as he did vs Lara when winning.Even when it was clear that Alvarez was out of his depth vs Mayweather he didn't quit.AND there lies the difference as to who will win.

I would never have the nerve to say this directly to her face because she'd beat me like a rented mule, but I have no idea why Anne Wolfe is so well-regarded as a trainer. Who has she trained that has any sort of skill?

As much as I would like for Angulo to win I have this feeling he won't. Hopefully I'm wrong.

She's not a teacher of boxing, like say, a Nacho Beristain. She just trains them like an animal to be beast. Like most trainers do. Look at the way Kirkland fights. Does he resemble anything close to a boxer? Lol!
