They will let floyd keep those belts as long as he wants. Any sanctioning body would jump at a chance to get a taste of a Mayweather purse.

Ishe Smith is a horrible boxer to watch. Sure he knows the basics but there doesn't seem to be passion behind him. I know the guy had some serious depression in the past and I know that's no joke. Not judging him as a person. Should be an easy decision win for Lara.

A fight between junior middleweights Erislandy Lara and Ishe Smith is apparently taking place on May 2.

Floyd Mayweather, who promotes Smith, talked about the matchup at Saturday's press conference announcing his own fight with Marcos Maidana on May 3.

BoxingScene.com was told the event is potentially taking place at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, with FS1 televising.
