Bob Arum is not rushing Lomachenko into title fights because he's earned or deserves them, he's rushing him into these fights because Bob has become an impatient old man who does not have enough time left in his life to wait for these fighters to become stars & earn title fights the good old fashioned way. Giving this guy a title match in only his second pro fight was a slap in the face to boxers, fans, and the sport in general. I had mocked the legitimacy of the UFC when they gave Brock Lesnar a title match after only a handful of fights, and now here is Bob Arum doing the same thing to undermine the legitimacy of boxing. I guess we should not expect anything better from a guy who thinks boxing fans "don't care about the PPV undercard". A guy who was "lying yesterday but is telling the truth today".
