Keith Thurman… One Too Many Hype!

Keith Thurman, good boxer, good power, good defence***8230;.

But whats with all the hype?

He is obviously upcoming and good, with his knockout ratio he is also regarded as a KO artist, but people seem to forget that a fighter like Danny Garcia (Who I am extremely impressed by and believe is severely underrated as he proved me wrong time and time again) doesn't get the same sort of hype? even though he is more proven.

Don't get me wrong it's not my dislike for Thurmans poor attitude outside of the ring that makes my arguement but I highly doubt he is being avoided, the below fighters would fight this guy without being branded as duckers in an instance,

Ruslan Provodnikov (shame about the ****ing cold war)
Danny Garcia (if he went unto 147)
    Lucas Matthysse
    Frankie Gavin
    Josesito Lopez
    Randall Bailey
    Shawn Porter
    Breidis Prescott
    Diego Chaves
    Yoshihero Kamigai

I am yet to see how his chin holds up too against the like of Ruslan, Lucas, and Bailey as he was momentarily rocked by Soto Karass

Thurman doesn't have any crazy hype
he's seen as an exciting rising star with potential
that's what he is, so he's only getting the praises due him
once he beats a bigger name, things might get crazy
but nobody's pegged him as the new king of his division or anything
because he's not been rushed, he's filling his shoes nicely for now

He's already defeated Chaves. I believe Porter's dad said there isn't enough money to make a Thurman fight. He was ready for Paulie, Maidana and Guerrero lat year but none of those fights materialized.

I think Thurman isn't this boogeyman, but I feel like other fighters understand his capabilities. As far as the other guys you mentioned, no one's saying they're all ducking him because idk if they've even been offered a Thurman fight.

I don't see the too much hype. He's exciting to watch, never boring, and if someone deserves some sort of hype, it's him.

He's on the rise, Soto Karass is his best win to date.

Danny Garcia isn't a KO artist, moreover he made hard work of beating old Morales and old Judah before eeking out a decision against Matthysse. Those sorts of performances don't lend themselves to "hype".

He has been ducked though Larry, Maidana and Guerrero just two of the names. Porter wants no part either.
