Um, no. Pac needs Barrera as much or even moreso than Barrera needs him. You wanna know why? Easy: $$$ Barrera has a ton of fights that would give him lots of money at lightweight. After Chavez, he could be in mega fights vs. Corrales and a fourth with Morales (if he decides not to fight again at 130, which he should), and in very profitable ones against Casa, Julio or Juan Diaz. Fact is, the lightweight division is stacked, while in super feather there's Pacquiao and that's that. He'll be fighting no names unless JMM steps up to 130 (which he should), and that's about the only ppv caliber fight that can be made.

Sucka said it best: money is boss. Manny knows this, and that's why he'll have to go after the big names at lightweight.
Exactly, spoken like a Mexican looking for a trap for the Pacman. Pacquiao doesn't need **** from Barrera. Barrera is gonna be remembered forever for getting his ass handed to him and then not even entertaining the thought of a rematch. Its a shameful act, but **** it, right? Casamayor and the Diaz' are hardly superfights. Corrales blows Barrera away, and Barrera will not take this fight. I'll put up any amount you want he doesn't fight anyone you mentioned above. Barrera hasn't been fighting anyone lately. Since Pacquiao, he's only taken one serious fight, and that was Morales. Other than that, he fought a finished Paulie Ayala, Mzonke Fana, and Robbie Peden. Money this, money that, maybe thats what drives Barrera. Greatness is not measured in dollar signs for true warriors. Barrera's *****, and I used to think he was the baddest mutha****a in the sport. Go figure...

What i'm trying to say is that paquaio would fight barrera at any wieght because he's so confident after their fight but for some reason he wont fight Eric at any wieght for so many years the elite fighters keep moving up in wieght, for example roy jones, delahoya and mayweahter. just look at mayweather he was at 130 a couple years ago and he's willing to move up to 154 that the diffrence between manny and these fighters I just named.

Manny won't fight Erik at 132lbs becuz that's not what the contract says PLAIN n SIMPLE.

It's not wether he's confident or not. IF you think Pac is scared of 2 lbs after DESTROYING Terible then I don't what else to say.

if he's so confident then why wont he fight at 132 then if he doesn't care about the 2 lbs? Get Manny Pac's lifesize **** out of your mouth (that'd be 2 inches).

again.. because it's in the contract w/ EM. Barrera doesn't have any contract w/ Pac right now so they can probably fight on whatever weight they would agree, including rematches - and that my boy, is a contract again.

Thats a weak ass excuse because that could be changed with no problems if both camps agree. Pac fans should just admit it he's a little worried about fighting eric at 132 ( notice how I said worried not scare)

You know what, **** it. Pacquiao shouldn't fight Morales at all. Barrera won't fight Pacquiao, **** him too. Pacquiao should rest on the fact that hes the man and everyone who wants Pacquiao needs to fight him. This is a disgrace, Morales is like Castillo. He doesn't feel he needs to make weight for a megafight. He's a disgrace. Real fighters fight at real weights, not at amateur weights. 132, does Morales want to fight him in the Golden Gloves?
