This is truly the case, the only difference is in the past outside of the uk this has gone on relatively under the radar of the world . This time with the Khan's showing their true colours to the world with such spoilt self importance I think it's now very clear, Khan is disliked in equal proportion both sides of the pond. The only way to make this better is to fight top ranked contenders , stop telling us Mayweather is running scared and stay off twitter!

I just posted this same scenario earlier this week. This would be a great matchup, and the winner will have proven that they deserve a matchup vs. Floyd. If Khan wants to EARN a shot, this would be how to get it...fight Keith Thurman.

Thurman has power but is also a damn good boxer who can adjust and has a high ring IQ. He is the complete package. If Mayweather dared to fight him, I'd go all in on Thurman.
I have been saying the same thing for a long time Thurman is the future star of this division and probably the only man who could defeat Floyd. Keith is the first boxer since Calzaghe who can adapt to his opponent in the ring this is a 6th sense which you can't train for but are born with it - I am not surprised people are avoided him, a good match up would be Porter and once he has the title people can't avoid him I have also seen Khan's name been thrown in on other posts, this will never happen - if Khan's people where scared of Alexander imagine how they would be feeling about Thurman - Khan wouldn't last past the 4th round, so let's forget that, it's not going to happen.

          • I like Thurman but anyone who thinks Thurman is ready for Floyd didn't see the Chavez fight because had that fight gone the distance Chavez might have won. Thurman needs more experience at the championship level. He'd lose to Floyd right now.

NOBODY is afraid of Lara's running as.s..

I don't see how you can believe otherwise.

The guy is TINY for the division and only has one gear...reverse..

                • There's no excuse for not finding Thurman an opponent. GBP has a roster of guys who can fight him, and there all signed to haymon. You can put just about anyone you want in there with Thurman.

Truth is, golden boy is more in the business of protecting fighters than putting on good fights. That's the real problem.

                  • Lets get s*it streight round here......nobodys duckin lara but canelo so putting laras name in the steer clear category no way!
GGG is only being ducked by sergio the guys beatin everyone else up so to say he is in that category makes no sense chavez jr just called him out so did ward!!!!
Now thurman who is in the most stacked division in the sport still fighting b-listers is more surprising to me but it can be gbp who are known to protect there fighters at all cost for as long as they can tryin to build a name like canelo then throw him in with floyd an the world sees they were flloed again!
If one time fights floyd this jr he gets schooled maybe an a big maybe next yr he will land floyd but u gotta tell schafer to give u better competition!
