Ortiz Admits to Quitting against Collazo, It was a flash kd, Was fully aware!

@1:08 they start to talk about the KO against collazo

They asked him it looked like he can get back up and he says "I was like 6 (the count) oh ****" lol so he was aware of the count, then he goes on to say it was just a flash knock down, ALL flash knockdowns you can get up from.

You know when you say something wrong/bad to a girlfriend and you just sort of keep talking trying to help things while you're really only digging yourself deeper and deeper? It seems like Ortiz is constantly in that situation only with boxing.

I feel for Victor. You can see the end results of a child who is trapped in a man's body. His issues with his dad are at the root of his inability to be a man at times. If he used that issue to motivate him the right way... He could have been in a better place. But you can see the pain in his eyes...

He should admit to quitting all those other times too while he's at it.

Its clear he got caught with a great shot and just gave up. He expected to just roll over Collazo and couldn't handle it mentally when Collazo started landing at will.
Look at the knockdown, when Ortiz gets to his knees he is fully aware of the count but chooses to stay down. If he had made any attempt to get up I guarantee you the ref would have let him finish the round. There was only 1 second left.
The guy just needs to have some fights under the radar to get his confidence back. I don't think he will ever be an elite fighter but he has some talent, can make some money, and he has some options after boxing.
