Maidana/Thurman should be happening right now with the winner fighting Floyd, but of course shyt never happens the way it's suppose to in this sport.

miadana has the better win, he went into the trenches with with karass and bullied him and came out with the W via TKO early then Thurman who tried to go into the trenches with karass and got rocked and then stayed on the backfoot all night trying to land his power shot which he did and fight was stopped but took him longer to achieve what chino did earlier and more exciting.

except it was clearly an early stoppage in a back and forth fight. people went crazy for groves-froch but this was just as bad.

Maidana - cos it didn't seem like anything but an afterthought. Thurman still has learning to do with the uppercut from outside - Karass almost sent him to the deck.

Maidana. He paved the way. Thurman just beat up Maidana's leftovers.

I was surprised Thurman didn't go toe to toe with him, it's not like Karass is a huge puncher, I guess he just decided to play it safe after getting clipped in the first round.

You're right though, the Maidana/Karass fight was much more exciting.

The very same posters that complain about early stoppages are complaining in other threads about refferes not stopping fights after some boxer died or had brain damage.

um no. karass was visibly hurt from the knockdown up to the fight being waved off. he was being hit repeatedly to the head with devastating right hands and didn't complain about the stoppage.

Overall performance I'd have to go with Thurman.
