One of the most overrated fighters of all-time. I'd put him around 25th in an all-time heavyweights list.

or they know more than you.
rocky use to trip over himself when punching.
his trainer had to tie his ankles together to teach him proper stance.
obviously he improved but that shows what level skill he had at one point.
rocky was BEFORE modern heavyweight era.
the modern heavyweight era started around liston/patterson time.
even small tyson/holyfield was so much bigger stronger than marciano.
small 5'11 220 lb tyson would be too much for him.
that's why OLD, PAST PRIME light heavyweight legends were giving PRIME rocky a hard time.Comment

That's because the weight classes and average weight per class were different, realistically Marciano would probably be a Middle-light heavy, but p4p, I would take Marciano over Tyson. Tyson had a great peek a boo stance, good head movement, and terrific speed for a HW, not even mentioning his power, but I consider Marciano a more complete fighter, more capable of putting together combinations, and a very underrated defense.
tyson had superior skill, power, speed, technique.
he was even tougher. he had a better chin and less prone to cuts than rocky.
what does rocky have over tyson?
heart?
plus rocky will come at tyson too. bad matchup.Comment
