  • Should Mayweather have 2 losses on his record?

First off the decision he got against Castillo which in a lot of peoples mind was a unfair decision which Mayweather got due to the fact he was probably seen as the prospect and the guy who now is gathering the masses and bring a lot of attention into boxing.

In his first fight with Castillo he (Floyd) was out-hustled, he wasn't landing enough shots to steal rounds and the fact that Castillo was the lightweight champion and he was fighting more like the challenger who wanted it more It kind of makes you wonder.

We've seen this happen with other previous fighters who have been hand-fed the same silver spoon treatment Mayweather had and getting the benefit of the doubt AKA Adrien Broner, albeit Broner is not anywhere near the level Mayweather is and Maywether is a genuinely very talented fighter.
Broner has had several fights (Quintero, PDL, Malinaggi) people had him losing but he managed to pull off a decision.

Right that was just the first loss I was talking about the second one comes in at when Mayweather fought Zab Judah...

00:15 seconds into the fight Mayweather gets a nice shot to his nuts and Roger Mayweather steps into the ring and at that point the fight by the rules SHOULD of been a DQ thus resulting in a victory for Zab.

When James Kirkland fought Carlos Molina, Kirkland knocks Molina down in the 10th round and Molinas corner come into the ring and the fight is called off as a DQ and Kirkland is the winner.

What is the difference between that and what Roger did?
Roger did considerably worse as he needed police to take him out of the ring, I think my opinion its a biased agenda to protect Mayweathers 0 as they realized they need this cash cow to milk every last penny they can get from him because once Mayweather is gone who else is there?

You may now commence with hating on me

Yeah I was thinking that aswell, was rewatching it today he got very, very lucky in that certain circumstance.

I think if it was Zabs team who interrupted during the fight proceeding Zab would of been DQ'ed.

Absolutely. But the rules are that there is no automatic DQ for this, its entirely up to the referee.

So he chose to not call it off, and I agreed with the call at the time.

Remember Judah was getting his ass whooped at that point and decided to turn the tide with intentional fouls. That was one of the worst, obviously intentional low blows Ive seen.

I think the ref just didnt want to take away Floyd's W.

I think he still could have DQ them even if he called time.

How would they go about doing that when a time out is called?
