lol Garcia and his father don't even want the fight, they're not upset they're happy about fighting Herrera instead.

This could come back and bite them in the ass because Danny Garcia may not even be undefeated by next year which will hurt his standing in the Mayweather sweepstakes.

I don't think it would be a sweepstakes if Danny continues on his current path... If he builds his name the way he's doing rt now it will be an anticipated fight not a sweepstakes fight... If manny fights Mayweather does that mean manny won the Mayweather sweepstakes? No cuz manny is already know and the fight is more about legacy than money... Same with Bradley and hopefully Garcia

I think Garcia is making the right decision in staying at 140 for right now. I think he will move up to 147 for his next fight. He needs at least one fight at 147 before he even considers taking on Mayweather. If I were the promoter, I would match Garcia against someone like Porter, Guerrerro or Alexander later this year at 147. If he wins, put him in against Thurman or whoever is at the top of the division on the Mayweather undercard in May 2015. Assuming that he wins that fight, try to make Mayweather/Garcia in September 2015. If Garcia looks impressive in those fights, Mayweather/Garcia would be a huge fight. If Thurman fights the same type of quality opponents this year and then beats Garcia, he would deserve the shot at Mayweather.

Doubt it. Danny is a thinker in there. I wouldn't be surprised if he walked Floyd into something big similar to how Mosley did. He'll proceed to get his ass kicked like Mosley. But I wouldn't be at all shocked if he dropped or hurt Floyd.

I see your point, but let's not get carried away and compare Danny Garcia to Manny Pacquiao; an ATG and one of the most recognized boxers internationally of all time. Garcia has a long ways ahead of him to even be mentioned in the same breath as Manny Pacquiao. Hell, I'm not sure he even reaches Timothy Bradley type of status and legacy.

Yep. Buts he's also at least two inches short and gives away quite a bit of reach. Plus, he's ridiculously slower than Floyd. As would Danny be. But, he's at least Floyd's height, if not taller. He probably gives up some reach because Floyd has long arms. But he wouldn't be lunging to connect like JMM. And Floyd probably wouldn't just be able to stand on the outside and jab without any fear of a hook coming back on top of it. Also, JMM couldn't hurt Floyd. So Floyd could actually be aggressive in spots. Well, aggressive by Floyd's standards. Danny has enough pop to hurt Floyd, IMO.

Why is Garcia still being allowed to hold on to the WBA and the WBC belts by the WBC? I thought they didnt allow their fighters to have another belt.
