Damage his career??? The only thing that woud happen is that he would be outboxed and lose a 10-2/9-3 type decision, which everyone would expect. Then he'd proceed with his career never fighting anyone nearly as good as Floyd again.

Doubt it. Danny is a thinker in there. I wouldn't be surprised if he walked Floyd into something big similar to how Mosley did. He'll proceed to get his ass kicked like Mosley. But I wouldn't be at all shocked if he dropped or hurt Floyd.

I think it would be more like 12-0/11-1 but yeah I agree with your point, Floyd will school you but it's not like he's going to destroy you prime Tyson style. Garcia should have just taken the huge payday and exposure while the offer was on the table and gave it a shot to try and land the GARSH. This opportunity won't always be present and there's guys at welterweight (when he finally moves up) that could beat him IMO; Thurman, Porter, and maybe even Guerrero. If he drops a loss to any of those guys he can kiss the Floyd sweepstakes goodbye.

Against Floyd, that would work against him.

And to the latter, it's not likely. He doesn't have near the speed Mosley had. It's an awful, awful style matchup for Garcia across the board.
