I never saw those rumors, but it would be a hell of a gesture to go that route, but it would also be disrespectful to Showtime. The two companies lots are pretty much cast together, and then GB hands one of the biggest PPV's of the year to HBO? That would be bad business.

GB has their own network now, that is doing them big favors, it would be ****** to side with the network that threw them off just because they got caught up in their feelings. The situation is too thick for them to do an event that big together right now. I believe if they are really trying to make that move, it will be baby steps first

It was ****** of them to leave HBO or piss them off to begin with, seeing as how HBO had a much larger audience and more experience in the boxing game.

Loyalty aside, I believe that Money ( actual money not Floyd Mayweather) is the ultimate factor. If Golden Boy can see a great opportunity to get back into the graces of HBO by giving them Nelo for one fight, I could see them take it.

You're criticizing Canelo fighting Angulo because Angulo lost to Lara.
Yet you don't criticize Lara for fighting Trout coming off a loss to Canelo?

Part I. Sorry, its not the same fighting someone who has loose for Lara or Canelo. Canelo has all the promoters power, all the opportunities. Lara has what he can find left over or the opportunities he can build like this one defying Canelo on every corner. When Lara fought Trout after Trout's lost was his best opponent beetwen his available opportunities but now when Canelo is fighting Angulo he is not his best opponent in his opportunities. Canelo's opportunities are not the Lara's opportunities. The Mayweather fight is something completely diferent, because fighting Mayweather is the best purse in boxing. Even Mayweather will never consider Lara because Lara's style is the one able to win Mayweather and not Canelo's style. Why then Canelo had the opportunity with Mayweather?, because he is the chosen one, the protected, not the best and for Mayweather side Canelo's style is suitable for him to defeat as happened

Part II. My point is to make the real fights and avoid manipulation. I know every people will see Canelo- Angulo's fight, even thought is a manipulation and everybody know it. I will not see it. I want the real ones, with the best opponents, the one's who has deserved it. GB will get everybodys money, except mine. The ring should say always the last word between fighters, not the manipulators in power. Sounds idealistic, I know, but is the truth. Even Canelo winning he is a hyped boxer and a coward with a team picking their more suitable fighters for his style or when those fighter become old or had a lost. That's the truth man. Even a blind can see it.
