Overhyped lowskilled pussy fake Canelo has no balls to face Martniez or Lara but at the same time they are ready to brawl with coming off a three losses in a row Cotto (bullshit with stiff Rodriguez means nothing).

    What a shame.

Ginger should retire. Boxing ain't for da pussies.

What you might be forgetting is that just like people are claiming Canelo would never fight Lara now, they use to say the same thing about Trout. Remember after he beat Cotto how he was proclaimed the best guy at 54. No one thought Canelo would step up in the ring with him, not even his promoters wanted the fight. But guess what? Canelo pulled ranked, said I want the fight, and he got the fight and beat Trout.

You have no basis for assuming Canelo won't fight Lara or is ducking him or anyone for that matter. He has said it's a fight he would be interested in, in the future. However right now if he beats Angulo he sets himself up perfectly for a huge money fight between the winner of Cotto/Martinez. That is the fight his team is going to look for and you can't really blame him for it. Again if the tables were turned and Lara had the opportunity to fight Vanes or Cotto/Martinez, who would he pick?
And more importantly would you be saying he's ducking Vanes? Or that Cotto and Martinez are old?
All that doesn't count anymore simply because he beat Trout. He automatically becomes a bum and an easy fight Canelo wanted. Boxing Scene logic for you

Yet Lara beats Trout coming off a loss an is proclaimed the best at 154 yes he beat him more convincingly but both got the W nonetheless .

If this scenario were to play out this fight would have to happen at the end of the year who would Canelo fight in the summer?

Obviously. I think there's a very good chance Floyd rematches Cotto for the middleweight strap if that happens.

I read Canelo is being paid 1.25 million but made 12 million with PPV against Floyd this mean he would have to fight at least 9 times to = what he made in the Floyd fight. So it dawned on me why he weakened himself to 152 for that payday. He basically made himself a ?hore rather than stick to his demands of 154.

I think bigger because people think higher of Martinez at his best than they do Cotto at his best.

Either fight would be big, and it's a win/win situation to be honest.
That would be a harder fight to make, though. At least I think it would be. And Cotto/Alvarez makes a lot more money.

Ok haters, name another 23 year old fighter who has fought better opposition than Canelo. 23 is the age when prospects usually begin to take their first baby steps towards contention. Canelo is already a genuine world class fighter and one of the top dogs in his division. Who is the ducker now?

He's making 1.25 million as his base, but is getting 80% of the revenue from PPV's and gate. So He's going to be making a lot more.

Well, nothing wrong with them targeting that.
Makes sense financially and resume wise.
                      If Martinez wins, SOL then.
Dude will have one more fight on his HBO contract and it doesn't look like he'll be finishing it by this year.
