Mayweather retired after Williams beat Margarito and announced his return less than a month after Williams moved up to middleweight. Pretty easy to join the dots there. Martinez offered to fight Floyd at 150 for an 80/20 split but Floyd decided to fight Guerrero instead. So, yes, they were all ducks.

Lara will be a duck too because he is obviously the best at light middleweight and there is nothing whatsoever preventing that fight from occuring.
How in the world did Mayweather become a topic of discussion in this thread?!? Check the title! Unbelievable!!

It's obvious WLAD hasn't seen last pathetic performance of TUA. How can he help him slow as he is now.

Its not uncommon for guys not to want to assist a fighter in beating one of his own countrymen.

I remember Omar Henry reaching out to Cotto when Margarito asked Henry to spar with him in preparation for his rematch with Cotto, and Cotto said he was cool with it; he said "It's the business" if I remember correctly.

What a honourable gesture, Somoa isn't a big country and he has a national obligation to help his nations endeavours in this lucrative art called boxing.

Wlad doesn't need a sparring partner for this. Just put a picture of Leapai face on a punching bag and there you go...

Will Tua be ringside crying as Leapai gets pummeled by the same jab he got pummeled with against Lewis?
