    How devistating would it be

If Mayweather loses this fight or a fight. Not from a fan perspective, I could give two f.ucks who's devistated by it. What I'm talking about is for his legacy, the business side of the sport, it pretty much nullifies the rest of his career. No one would care about him, or fighting him anymore. Am I correct? If I am not correct in your opinion, explain how.

only way he would lose is by a lucky ass punch..

there wud be a rematch, and end up being one of the biggest fights of all times, and he will win

also people will just say he is old and not in his prime, which is somewhat true..a reason why khan wud whoop him

floyds legacy is cemented, like or not

    same as pacs

So you think it doesn't hurt boxing or his legacy? You still think people would be lining up to fight him?

Just for future reference and in the event you didn't realize it, I believe the word is "devastated".

on-topic .... Lucky punch happens all the time. Gotta wait and see.

Devastating? There's a strong likelihood Floyd would be less of a tampon about picking his opponents. It might be the best thing that ever happened to the current crop of fans.

Thanks. I was mispelling it and my phone was allowing me too.

Now why does a lucky punch have to be the way he loses in my hipothetical scenario here?

I'm just saying if he loses (not so much the lucky punk route) how does that change his career, his revenue, his relevancy?

Or does everything remain the same.

I really can't see him being relevant if he was to lose.

                  Rematch would be HUGE.....

He wins a rematch, People would still buy into Floyd I think... Unless he lost the rematch too.. That would be a big hit to his stock

I actually believe that's the only way it happens ... Floyd has great vision and great reflexes to match. It would have to be a lucky punch coming in a way that could not be anticipated.

Here's why luck would have to play a role ... This dude's focus is on defense first and that means avoiding punches is his top priority and his whole career has been made on that premise. "A defensive wizard"

He's not going to get clipped by something he can anticipate.
