People still judging a 1 min sparring video where Spadofora was getting his assed whooped for half of that time.........People act like Floyd got dropped 5 times, just 2 dudes slugging it out

Floyd will never be that heavy again in his life, and he doesn't fight that brave without headgear

Look at the way he changes angles, changes the distance, puts his combinations together and constantly keeps Cardona off balance, never lets him set his feet.

Spada may not give you highlights, but he sure could box. This is boxing 101 right here.

Yeah, I always loved to watch the fight vs Pito Cardona. Agree with everything you say, changes angles superbly. One moment he´s throwing quick combos in front of Cardona, the next second he´s standing behind the guy. Really good footwork and balance. Plus he punches in combos, not so common anymore.

Spaddy also had a good victory over Angel Manfredy and the draw vs Leo Dorin was a real good fight. But his wild private life and drugs & booze put him in jail, he lost his best years in there.

He was always a honest dude when the mic was around.

I just wish once though, he would say, "warriors, come out and playiiiiiyaaaa"

I can't remember who it was against, but he fought a columbian or argentian up and comer, the guy fought just like Maidana.

spada was the underdog, and expected to get destroyed, and he boxed the living **** out of the guy. He was technically brilliant, he just didnt have any explosiveness at all. and he gets a lot of disrespect because he didn't fight a lot of guys. He was protected, but he didn't suck by any means.
            This.

He is the cause of his own demise, Spada could have become something.

I don't take him seriously at all. Hell, he's a fighter who never fights. If the guy is in Mayweather's class he should be fighting 4 times a year, kicking ass and making lots of money.

Where would you rate him (if you rate him at all)

Some say he had the recipe for Floyd Mayweather, there is a sparring video (to be taken with a grain of salt) that shows Spadafora getting the better of Mayweather.

Thoughts on him as a boxer, where he ranks, what the possible out come would have been if he fought Mayweather?
Are you kidding me? The guys a bum, with a padded record that wasted any of the limited talent that he had! The only reason he was of any relevance was because of that sparring session (Where he openly admitted Mayweather had not been training and he himself had a fight in the coming weeks!)

The most noteworthy claim on his resume was when he tried to murder his girlfriend!

He was a good boxer but average lightweight titlist. Aside from showing in sparing why Mayweather can't fight southpaws, Spadafora hasn't done much.

Mayweather HAD to be 100% to do well against an espn fighter in sparring? Think about it.
Spadafora had a great skillset, he was and still is underated, just couldn't stay our of trouble to reach his true potential.

Whoa take it easy , that doesn't mean you need to make excuses for Mayweather about the sparring session...
