I agree. I have no interest in this fight other then from a pure entertainment perspective.


But since the whole "big name/fan base- star power- I am a big draw so I deserve the big fights and that automatically makes me And my opponent good fighters" thing has been going on for some years now, you can't blame anybody

No, you can't blame the casual fans who want that, but you can blame the people who should know better, because this is a life changing beating in the making.

The hype is already starting "Chavez has the best chin in the sport", anything like that would influence the fight in the direction letting Chavez take a beating is bad news for him and his health.

Are people really worried about JCC Jr. catching a life altering beating?

JCC Jr. is trading on his toughness but he is still young I hope he knows when to step away when he is used up but that is the cost of doing business that way and he is being compensated pretty well for boxing.

Plus GGG is fighting him at a better weight for Chavez.

It's a risk fighting a guy that big. Guys like Cotto and Lomachenko have had huge issues with big guys like Jr.
