50/50 fight. They might give it to Maidana to set up a trilogy.

I hate Khan ( 1 of 3 boxers I actually hate ) so I'm biased but I honestly believe he didn't even win the first fight. I think if they fought again Maidana would beat him down.

Khan was the a-side and got A side treatment from the refs the HBO commentating was a biased joke towards Khan in my opinion and swayed allot of people's opinion on that fight.

That body shot though was vicious that Khan landed on Maidana it literally looked like Maidana got shot with a gun the fact that he got through that amazed me and not only held on but put it to Khan , been a huge fan of Chino since

I'll give Khan credit for having heart but I view him as a great starter great for the first 3-5 rounds or untill he gets hurt then he becomes ineffective.

I haven't watched the fight in like a year so I might not be 100% accurate but after around the 4th round Khan got demolished and was holding on for dear life it's just he built a big lead over Maidana over the first 3-4 rounds and after that the refs weren't going to give Maidana the win unless Khan got KOd

Miadana destroys Khan this time. Maidana has gotten better under the coaching of Garcia. Khan's chin is gone ala a D Garcia blast to the neck. He's done. That's why he ducked Alexander for a promissory note and got shafted.

For the life of me I don't understand how JD puts down Khan but he ate all those MASSIVE shots from Chino and he didn't go down....it is mind boggling when you really stop to think about it.....

The real question is whether Khan is going to wear his track or his boxing shoes.

If Khan wears his track shoes - then its a repeat of the first fight. Khan is just too fast on his feet and is difficult to catch. Ask Peterson, who can be seen actually running across the ring trying to catchup to Khan and Khan still outran him.

If Khan wears his boxing shoes - I would be shocked, because he rarely wears those.

Maidana would absolutely destroy Khan if he wasn't so hard to catch up to.

Same Maidana better matchmaking has fought nothing but flat footed fighters in his last 4 fights, and he didn't take the Alexander fight in fear of losing he didn't take it because he didn't want to risk an injury causing him to miss out on the biggest fight of his career

Lopez has some boxing skill. And like I said many were picking the guy to outbox Maidana.

A blown up light welterweight? Nah he was coming down from 154 and before that he upset Victor Ortiz at 147.

All these hypotheticals, if khan didnt land the body shot..

Khan would edge it again I feel, but he has regressed under Hunter.
