straw man tactics. dirk, i don't blame you. it would be extremely difficult to make any real arguments for khan these days.

Whatever happen to that picture meme/tale of the tape of Khan-Maidana? The one where Khan land 250 odd punches and Maidana land 1 punch and he won by KO..

It's hard to judge today's Khan to be totally honest.
I dont think its hard at all, just look at his recent fights. Very average boxers either defeated him or landd him on the canvas, Maidana just kills him.

The first fght was close.Since then Maidan has improved and Khan has gone backwards. He has also been inactive.
Khan was in great condition having been trained by Ariza. There are now big ??? about what he put in the shakes after Roach's recent comments but if there is anything in it or not Khan has not looked as strong as when Ariza has done the conditioning training.
In the first fight Khan landed a great body shot in the first round that took a lot of wind out of Maidana's sails and I suspect he never fully recoved to be able to hit at maximum power.
My gut feel is Maidana wins a rematch by KO.

Well I don't think it's easy to make a full judgement yet.

He hasn't looked good recently but you never know how he might bounce back.

He's had two tune ups since the Garcia set back, albeit he looked poor against Diaz but he's only two fights in with his new trainer.

I'd like to see how he looks at 147. I still think he has something to offer to a lot of fighters out there.

I'd like to see a Khan-Maidana rematch, would be a good fight IMO.

If Maidana hurts him like he did last time I believe he takes him out in a rematch.

Maidana gets picked apart IMO, he's even slower at this weight and he gets hurt a lot so does Khan but Maidana simply can't deal with movers all his momentum is due to him fighting flat footed fighter

People were picking Lopez to outbox chino, citing superior movement and skillset...Remember that?

Lopez last three fights were brawls i don't see a boxer in him he's more of a puncher, and don't forget he was a blown up light welterweight

I'd have to favor Maidana at this point but I wouldnt count Khan out
