Khan was nowhere near winning 11 of the 12 rounds, the later stages of the fight were dominated by Maidana and on several occasions the ref was on the verge of stopping it. To call it a comfortable win for Khan is well short of the mark. Suggest you go watch the fight again mate, because although i scored it for Khan as well by the time the final bell rang there was not too much in it.
If Khan Maidana go at it again....do you see Khan pulling it off again?

No the fact Khan was landing at will on Maidana won the fight for him.Maidana's boxing has improved and he has more big fight experience now, Khan has not got better is arguably worse. Maidana would win by stoppage inside 6 rounds in a rematch.
Khan did very well in the first fight and that big body shot changed the fight completely and i believe won it for him as it took Maidana half the fight to recover, fair play also that he was able to run fast enough to avoid Maidanas wild swings when he was out on his feet. Second time round you will see a much more measured Maidana who will punish Khan and finish him when he has him in trouble.Comment

Now it's become "if Khan didn't land that punch, he would have lost"
If the first round had lasted 20 seconds longer, Khan would have knocked Maidana out
If my aunty had balls, she'd be my uncle.Comment

That is pretty much the case and is the nature of the sport it was not a criticism of Khan he throw a beautiful body shot it landed and it ruined his opponent for the next 15 minutes and as you say with more time Khan may have finished him. You surely can see the fight would have been very different without that fantastic punch though, and in the rematch it is unlikely to happen again. At the end of the day Khan has lost 2 of his last 4 and looked terrible in the ones he won, and Maidana's clearly improved and is not a novice at the top level anymore so i can only see one result and thats a Maidana KO.Comment

I think it would be fair to say that MM has improved recently.
You can't say the same about AK.
The problem (obviously) is what happens to AK when he gets hit flush.
MM has the better chin, but has been dropped with body shots in the past, but the momentum is with MM.
I think we saw the best of AK against MM the first fight.
I'd favor MM heavily if they fought again. Probably within 6 rounds.Comment

That is how I see it. Khan has not really got back on track since the Peterson loss with one good performance and has been treading water while he waits out his turn to get a shot at Mayweather. That can only have eroded his confidence and promote ring rust. There is no question the momentum shift is in Maidana's direction and Khan needs to start fighting again and get his career moving.Maidana's boxing has improved and he has more big fight experience now, Khan has not got better is arguably worse.
