Thurman doesn't get much hype. Who's his fanbase? I don't really see any Thurman hype.

By now a lot of fans knows who Lara is, and his last two fights had being a pleasure to watch, then again haters are going to hate...

          Williams
          Trout
          Molina
          Martirosyan
          Angulo

And make no mistake about it, the guy is lined up to fight Canelo if he beats Angulo, Haymon will make sure of that.
I think you're right, Kev...and Landy has already gotten loads of opportunities for a guy with 22 professional bouts.

Simply, risk vs reward - not many fighters want to fight a very difficult fight if they really have to - especially if there is not much monetary gain (i.e., butts in seats and to an extent viewership). The more diehard fan would watch but it's really dependent upon the numbers of the masses.

UNtil Lara starts acting like a fool and draws more attention to himself and start popping off then he'd probably be more inticing (I'm being sarcastic).

I think GBP is doing what they can. I don't think any promotional company will heavily invest in hyping Lara to the US public given his nationality, language barrier, and fighting style.

A Canelo fight would be ideal. I agree they are going to wait a while. Even when they finally do it you can bet it will be in Texas with open scoring, which will hurt Lara the way it did Trout.
Doing what they can? Like what? Like **** coming out bashing Lara Arum style?

Its been Lara and his manager doing all the hyping. Zilch from GBP.

LAra is more like the figure I don't want to watch.

I can honestly care less if I never see this dude fight again.

Yeah Floyd hits just as hard as Angulo!

Floyd will knock Lara down then out!
