You call it opportunities and I call them "thrown to the lions", gbp wants Lara out of gingers way and that's why he is being fighting all those world class oponents, actually when the Lara-vanes fight went to auction they didn't bid so vanes promoters got to promote the fight, and that's why it was a "draw". vanes quit in that fight even before the doc check his injury he was saying he couldn't continue...

Slick southpaws with reach are a pain in the ass to fight and he hasn't generated enough interest among casual fans to be a risk worth taking. His talent is undeniable though, it's only a matter of time until he establishes himself as a PPV draw. I want to see him matched up against the winner of Canelo vs Angulo.

We both might be right. Golden Boy sees it as "getting Lara out of the way," while Landy benefits from the match-ups.

He's fought Williams, Molina, Trout, Angulo, and Vanes how does that equate to not get quality fights? He's received every opportunity to fight the best at 154 and prove he's above the competition ,and with the exception of the Trout fight he's failed to produce a truly dominant performance.

Obviously he wants the Canelo fight and he's starting to market his brand more aggressively to ensure he can get the fight.

As a Cuban I love to see my fellow countrymen be successful but I am also realistic. Thats not gonna happen.

Lara is a beast but it is funny that the people that fought him want him in the ring again.

Broner is not a joke. He is a good fighter who won titles at 130, 135 and 147. He never was the future of boxing and he will never be an elite fighter like Mayweather, Marquez or Pacquiao in my opinion. Berto looked promising but he just reach a peak early and never improved and now seems to be going down hill.

No English, not the best style to watch, not many fans, not much money involved.

He's not the boogeyman people make him out to be, he has had good fights and opportunities

i must have missed all the hype surrounding him, but why exactly is it that nobody wants to fight him? I'm readin names like GGG, Canelo, this one, that one.... whats the deal here?
He's had alot of big fights though!
You've named two guys right... and because of those two you're suggesting nobody wants to fight him??
Wow a bit blown out of proportion don't you think?

I highly doubt GGG would turn down the fight, its a very winnable fight for him but with Canelo I can definitely see why he might not want anything to do with him.

Broner lost several times before his 'first' loss, that is the huge difference.
