judo (which brazilian jiu-jitsu and sambo is based on) has tons of footlocks, toe holds, ankle locks, achilles holds.

ppl who don't grapple have no idea how easy it is to submit a non grappler quickly because they only see it in ufc/judo/bjj/etc. where both fighters are familiar with the techniques and defenses.

grapple a good high school wrestler or bjj blue belt and see how easily you get dominated, even if you are much bigger/stronger.
