Why the hell was Angulo detained so long? I just saw All Access and he said he went in voluntarily for three days and it turned into 8 months. That's horrible.

As much as I want Angulo to lose I feel he is going to pull it off vs Canelo.

Really pulling for Angulo on this one. Hope he ko'es this dude. The w would mean so much to him. Deep stuff,he's been threw we got a chance to see it on all access. Especially seeing him talk about missing his daughter when he was detained. Alfredo has been in tough his whole career compared to canelo whose had a lot given to him. Because of his odd pastiness

This might be controversial but Virgil is prob the most overrated trainer in the game. He trains Andre ward who is one of the most god gifted fighters ever to step in the ring. Angulo was always a good fighter but went to Virgil learn some defense; im yet to see that happen. Amir Khan has actually taken steps backward with Virgil; he still has the same weak defense except under roach he had some of the best offense in the game. Berto only had one camp and fight with him but he looked dreadful (i know he was hurt but i still think Karass beats him with a good shoulder). All his other fighters are b and c level. I think Dulorme is about to beat Mayfield and he had to have come up with the worlds worst gameplan when Mike Dallas tried to go after Matthysse. I give him some credit for Andre bc he's been with him since he's a kid so he had to teach him some stuff, but i think ward is more responsible for Virgil becoming a big time trainer rather than the other way around

Naw. You got me all wrong. Wish canelo the best vs Angulo, i've made it clear here even tho I feel Angulo will win. Hopefully sometime late 2014 we can get Lara v Canelo. Given they both keep winning.

It's funny how much less fearsome they look outside the ring in their normal clothes.

Nonetheless - I can't wait to see what Angulo can do to Canelo and whether the kid can handle it.

I agree I think Ward was a big deal for Virgil Hunter. Without Ward would anyone be saying Hunter's name? And I think Hunter is the guy who cries wolf all the time. He did it for Mike Dallas jr claiming Mattyhse took PEDS in front of Hunter, he claims Angulo got thumbed, claims to have seen people standing over the judges in Chvez-Vera 1 (but doesn't want to comment on it), and I'm sure if Angulo loses he'll just make something up to stir up controversy and take away from Canelo's win.
