Damn! See this fight is already building up before it's signed off. Two big mouth fighters. Neither of whom have proven they belong amongst the elite. This has the potential to beat out Garcia vs Matthyse which to me kind of disappointed. Then again who knows what else might pop up on the card It has time to fill in.

I agree to an extent. But I give him a lil more credit for the Molina win than you seem to. That said, that's kinda besides the point. At the time of the fight, Demarco was seen by many as the top guy at 35. And on top of that, Valero was a flat ass beast. And AB did every bit the job Valero did. That's just not a win to turn your nose at simply because AB wasn't successful two divisions north. If hes stays at lightweight, he's probably still unbeaten today. Not only that, folks would be b1tchin' about him beating up on "smaller guys."

I feel you, and I agree that AB would be king at lightweight. But there's also no real comp down there unless he fights Crawford or Mikey..Gamboa perhaps.
