Let this be a lesson to all the naysayers that don't understand boxing business 101. The reason Jr is getting so much media coverage and support is because he pulls in numbers like this.

His fights are exciting, he goes all out and it's a brawl when he fights. Love him or hate him he will continue to get coverage and make big money.

A fight between him and GGG would be huge, won or lose.

Its a good fight IMO. Should he lose to GGG, it wont hurt Chavez stock. Frankly, he has far exceeded where I'd thought he'd be. If he stays focused he could do big things.

If they do fight, so long as one of the next 2 fights for the winner is Ward, its fine.
Oh its a good fight. We'll see how legit GGG's power is. And he'll likely be chin checked too. But I'm also not gonna pretend that when Ward came calling, GGG wanted to concentrate on cleaning out 160.

Sounds good. And from a casual fan's perspective, makes sense. But anyone that considers themself a hardcore fight fan. But, can't apprciate guys like Floyd, Ward, and Rigondeaux needs to seriously evaluate their fandom.

Who the *** are you to tell people who they can and can't appreciate?

I agree about Mayweather, Ward and Rigo but guess what, if you aren't coming out of pocket to watch those fighters, then you can't be mad when they don't get coverage.

Fans always want to see certain fights, but for FREE......hahahaha

It takes money to put on shows, I don't know if you knew that. If you want boxing to give the Lara's and Molina's of the world more coverage, then come out of pocket so the promoters can make the show happen.

If not, you have no right questioning anyone's fandom.

Jr's style is extremely fan friendly, Mushashedan would be proud. R.I.P.

Its all due to his name and father being who he is. If he wasnt born to Sr, he would be a nobody in boxing. He does not go all out half the time, his 2 previous fights before sat were boring where he barely threw and did ****.

                  Not true.

Look, I do admit that he got his start in boxing because of his name, nobody can doubt that. You aren't giving him any credit though and that's also unfair.

He isn't his father, but he's no bum skill wise. He has a good chin, is tough, and can punch. Now, he has had issues with his training and work ethic, those can't be disputed but you can't say that he's just getting recognition because of who his daddy is.

That can only carry you so far. I think Jr can fight, he is a fighter. I dont think he's great, and I don't think he's going to be a legend in the sport but he can make some exciting fights. He almost beat Martinez, he is always in exciting fights, and isn't scared to stand and trade.

Like I said, we need to be fair in his criticism.

True. Notice how HBO steered him toward Chavez. Its a win win fight for them. A ward v chavez/ggg fight is bad for them because the bigger star likely loses big, which is bad for future business.
