Maidana was definitely the right choice much tougher than Amir he's a great boxer and all but this guy dosen't have a good chin if he would do his thing and just box he would be fine and probably would've got the mayweather fight but dude tries to trade with these big punchers and gets his but handed to him if he would've just boxed with Garcia he would've cruised to an easy desicion...not sure when he's going to learn his lesson.

I still don't see the sense in Mayweather fighting Martinez @ 154. Sergio is the recognized #1 Middleweight in the world and a current title holder.

why not fight him at Middle, instead of bringing him down in weight?

I agree with you 100%, but lets be honest, Mayweather won't ever go anywhere north of 154. Martinez has gone on record to fight Mayweather at 154 - Now, will he be effective at that weight? THat's another story. But I've always said that Martinez had the goods to beat Mayweather. Seeing Martinez vs Cotto will show how healthy he really is.
