Gonna have to agree with a lot in this post. I've had a lot of criticism for Rios in the past but he's ready to fight a guy who he probably won't beat, and who is fairly high risk and low reward, even if he's better know than he was before the Bradley fight.

Provo has about as much defensive game as Rios. Which is basically none. Provo may very well beat his ass but he'll get served up his fair share of punishment as well.

I agree. Rios is sloppy at times and he might take damage but he isn't afraid of anyone. I think Provod will put him in a hurt locker but he will dish out his fair share as well and it will make for one hell of a great fight no doubt about it.

As much as I criticized Bam Bam for his pathetic performance against Pac, I'd still favor him over Provodnikov. I am a fan of both but I think Rios outlasts Provodnikov who got rocked by Bradley.

He's got more options than fighting a guy like Provodnikov for sure. He's obviously got balls if anything too much balls which will probably hurt him in the long run.

As much as I'd love to see this fight, I really don't think Rios can make 140. If it gets made (and IT NEEDS TO GET MADE!!!) it should be at 147 and nothing lower. Provo showed that he carries his power to 47 against Timmy so there should be no problems. I don't want either to have excuses and Rios would have the "weight drained" excuse at 140
