    Salido was clearly weight drained...

Loma fans keep acting like Salido came in as some hulking beast when it simply isn't true, in fact I don't even think he took this fight seriously.

Came in 2lbs heavier than Loma, yet put on 19lbs over night. 19lbs is A LOT, only a handful of fighters can pull that off and still be healthy.

Furthermore it even showed in the fight. First 2 rounds or so were toss up rounds, both guys started off slow. After that Salido completely took over, landing hard body shots while Loma landed his little pitty pat shots that had no effect.

Fast forward to round 9 or 10, Salido still dominating but clearly tiring, Loma is still doing absolutely nothing. It became very clear when he fell down and was slow to get up, he was also breathing very hard.

Finally Loma starts to come on, not because he did anything, but because Salido was exhausted. I give Loma credit for his durability to the body but that's it.

And for those complaining about the low blows (which we still don't know were low) Loma got away with a ton of pushing off and holding. Take that away from him and where is his defense?

Two different classes of fighters, and Salido looked the worst I've ever seen him.

Why are you trying to say with this thread? "Hulking beasts" can tire, but they are still "hulking beasts" for at least a few rounds. Salido didn't come in like a drained skeleton.

Whether he was drained or the wars have taxed him, the Salido we saw last night was not the one we are used to. That's why it makes Lomachenko look even worse.

Salido looked slow, sluggish and fatigued and still managed to get it done mostly due to experience. The first thing he mentioned last night was that he is moving to 130 ASAP so hopefully it is mainly the weight that's the problem.

The weight almost cost Salido the fight. He lost rounds 10,11 and 12 and made the fight closer than it needed to be.

People who are weight drained don't gain a lot of weight back, hence the term weight drained. Maybe if Salido would have abided by the rules, he would have been weight drained and clearly would have lost.

You are an idiot, uninformed, and obviously have no right to even make a thread regarding weights, weight classes, or weight draining.

Please explain it then, I'm sure 19lbs is easy to lose :wt:

You can't be drained if you didn't bother to make weight. I guess Castillo was "drained" for the Corrales rematch. Cutthroat and his transparent agenda.

Quit proving further that you know nothing about weight loss in regards to boxing. You're embarrassing yourself.
