Non title fights are supposed to be 10 rounds. Title fights are 12 rounds.

In this case the first fight was 10 rounds because it had no title. Unfortunately, the rematch had a "title" on the line, or a sad excuse of a title. The vacant WBC Continental Americas title, so the fight was 12 rounds.
