Martinez mite of been 1 punch from being KO'd, but he won the fight. The Chavez last night beat Vera! How on earth does beating Vera prove that you would beat froch? Or groves? Or any1 else even remotely close to world class?

People need to know the game of boxing before you throw around phrases like "club fighter" because by that definition Maidana is a club fighter to yet he demolished Broner, more times than not those "club fighters" are the hardest type of guys to fight. Dude Froch is 36 going on 37 years old! One thing people fail to realize is Chavez Jr just turned 28 and he has a decent resume for his age imo. There is really no need to compare the 2 because of the gap in age. Froch 3 years ago might of had a chance but the Froch of today would be lucky to last 10 rounds with Jr.

We must have been watching different fights then because Chavez stop boxing after round 2. In rounds 1 and 2 when Jr was boxing, Vera barely touched him. Once Jr realized Vera couldn't hurt him he basically walked through him for most of the night and did what he wanted when he wanted.

I agree froch isn't as good as he was 2 years ago. But over those 2 years he's fought a much better level of competition than Chavez has ever fought and he's beaten them all. What evidence do you base your opinion on? Other than you like Chavez more than froch.
