It's not like GGG has the best D in the world, like I said he showed a lot of flaws in his last fight. and Chavez is much bigger than GGG. Not saying he will win but let's not act like GGG will walk right through Jr because no one has ever done that.
The truth here. People underrating Chavez make his opponents look even worse when they lose. He's no Mayweather, but he's better than most heavyweights defense.

What these novice fans seem to not realize is that Chavez always looks super awesome to a fighter with no power and much smaller than him. Fight someone with his size and power and he looks nothing special. Vera was taking all his hits and he dished some good ones in on him. In other words, a much smaller fighter took all of what JR can offer and dished some of his own. JR is still a joke and complete waste of money. Its a shock that he actually has fans on here defending this scam we call his boxing career.

Resumes don't fight resumes, fighters do.

Chavez is such an open douche with zero-self awareness.... but he is so far off the douche scale that I LIKE HIM.

He uses his chin for D; has a massive beard, gives ZERO ****s about anyone or anything. Lovable douche for me.

That's correct but before fighter's fight each other what you have to go on is their resume. All I'm saying is that GGG is not walking through JR If JR is motivated and in shape cuz no one has and he's fought some pretty stiff competition. I think it's a pretty even match up and a toss up fight.

Nice win for Chavez. Maybe he could fight light heavy?

So, this is the version of Junior that is now taking his career seriously and trained hard for this fight? My opinion is that he is so highly overrated and the in shape version still stinks.

Dude what "steep competition? Andy Lee? Rubio? Those guys are decent but at their weight and JR has always faught people smaller than him. Let him fight true 168 fighters to see where he is at. GGG has fought just as equal competition if not better. Look at the previous 4 fights of GGG before Curtis Stevens. Aall better than JRs opponents. Educate yourself and dont fall into the hype.
