The one thing that really did work for James last night was his work to the body....the fight was stopped because the Armenian had been down twice in the same round, was a mile behind on points and needed a KO to win which he was in no condition to deliver. Sensible, compassionate stoppage.
An okay-ish performance by James. Looked very quick, moved well and a nice mixture of shots to stop a tough customer. But the strange switching-off is still there and he got walloped a few times, picked up a cut and lost some rounds he should have won. He can't afford to do that against Bika....because Sakio will make him pay if he leaves himself open.
