CLUE: Refs are not supposed to wave fights off from body shots. If the fighter can't continue -stays down- the fight ends. Body shots are not the same health risk as head shots. I haven't seen this fight, but if the fight was stopped I suspect home favouritism.

At any rate, DeGale, if he is as good as his publicists proclaim, shouldn't have struggled so much tonight. Off night? Maybe?

Periban was already offered the final eliminator with Degale in the first place but turned it down so it went to Badou Jack who we all know got stopped last night.

It's about that time for DeGale to step up to championship level he's got kind of an intriguing curiosity about him like he could get blasted out at any moment with his clownish antics.

Periban had his chance. Bika clinging on to his title, about time Degale stepped up and **** the title off his hands.

Why not just watch the fight to see what happened? The guy didn't really want to continue. Down twice from good body shots and he was pretty much done. **** off with that home town crap. You make it sound as though nothing happens in any other country round the world.
