For those that keep mentioning Lara and Ward, go back and read previous articles, then consider how boxing works in terms of weight classes and defining a strategic goal for unifying titles in your current weight class, then post on threads.. that aside, though it will not happen, I would love to see GGG rip that IBF title from Sturm's grasp after a 7 rd KO of Lee.

Not a bad fight. Lee is way more talented then the likes of Macklin, Murray or Geale. He would beat all of them because he can box really good. Too bad his defense won't let him survive GGG's power. I see him landing good shot on GGG's chin and make it an entertaining fight for about three to four rounds. Then GGG will probably knock him out in six or seven.

Yes, Ward did man up. Lara on the other hand knows that a fight with GGG will never be a reality because of the BS "Cold War." But I have serious doubts that Lara would ever go the distance at 160lbs. He was arguably losing the fight to Angulo and received a gift draw against Carlos Molina. I know most people feel as though GGG hasn't faced anyone of consequence, but I'd argue to the contrary. Macklin is still considered a world class fighter and a lot of people know very little of Curtis Stevens, but he is not a fighter many people are lining up to fight. He is a big Middle Weight and fought at Super Middle Weight. He has a lot of solid wins in his career like Darnell Boone. For those that don't know Boone was the first fighter to put Andre Ward on the canvas, and he is also the one that gave Adonis Stevens his only loss via 2nd round KO.

Chavez has like 2 stoppages in his last 9 fights. Highly overrated power

Ward is a fight HBO would love to make, unfortunately Ward is not seeing any action anyway because he is having promoter issues.
The same promotional and network issues exist with Floyd-Manny. Hasn't kept these ass clowns on here from screaming "duck" all day everyday. What's the difference with GGG-Lara???

Lara pulled their card. They (GGG camp) were saying the same thing about quillen how whenever GGG is brought up to quillen he starts talking the hbo /showtime beef , but that the fight can still be made. Now a slick 154 pounder is calling him out and all you hear is crickets and bunny farts. Look at the history, these 2 companies have worked together not too long ago with the Lara / vanes martirosian fight remember that? GGG needs to start fighting different fighters - he is 33 years old , i guess when they answered Ward by saying GGG has unfinished business at 160 they meant the Darren Barkers/ Martin Murrays/ Daniele Geals / Mathew Macklins / Andy Lees of the world - all of you so called boxing anaylists out there tell me how the crop of fightets i just mentioned will help him prepare for a Andre Ward or anyone else with a real pulse or skill set at this point his team is doing more harm than good..

April 26 so if that means he's going to fight again in July or August against a live body then it is what it is. I'd rather see GG move down to 154 if possible where there are more names.
