I rate both Groves and DeGale higher than Frock, they're clearly much more talented.

How has his opposition been better? His best win to date is over Paul Smith who Groves obliterated. Since then all he's done is TKO a few pretty obscure, low level fighters and go the distance with a some more EURO level ones.

DeGale dominated, embarrassed and humiliated Paul Smith in front of his hometown way before Groves got to him. Smith actually rocked Groves in the first round of their fight but barely landed a glove on DeGale.

          Groves other wins were:

          Franciso Sierra
          80 year old Glen Johnson
          Dario Balmaceda
          Baker Bakarat
          Noe Gonzalez

          A real who's who.

Chunky & Groves are better technical fighters than Froch, but boxing isn't always about technical ability. People have been claiming on here that Froch is rubbish, have done for years. Look what he's achieved though?

Degales opponents since losing to Groves:

                Piotr Wilczewski
                Crisitian Sanivia
                Hadillah Mohoumadi
                Fulgencio Zuniga
                Sebastien Demers
                Stjepan Bozic
                Dyah Davis

Sorry, but how are they any better than Groves opponents?

And the fact of the matter is Groves beat Degale, KO'd Smith (a shared opponent) and beat Glen Johnson who is miles better even now then anyone on that list of Degale opponents.

I think overall they are slightly better. Wilczewski, Zuniga and Davis are better than everyone on Groves' list except Johnson who was a pensioner that showed up for a cheque.

This idea that Groves has progressed so much more than DeGale is nonsense. He just got gifted the better opportunity.

No way they are any better, and saying that about Glen Johnson is just trying to downplay Groves better opponent. There is also no way Degale would of done to Froch what Groves did. If Badou Jack-Degale lands on the undercard of Mayweather-Maidana, that is the end of Degale.

You can try to down play it , but a 80 year old Johnson

Beats every bum Degale has fought since the groves fight.

Like someone else said he's a great talent with a shocking bad promoter
