Mayweather protects his chin well behind that shoulder.

Could Mayweather eat a right hand from Kostya Tszyu without going down like Zab Judah did? Judah's legs were gone after that right hand. How would Floyd's legs be?

Proof that a right hand can squeak by Mayweather's (overrated?) defense.

He has a great defense, because he's not suited for the warrior ways.

His father and uncle realized this from an early age, when Floyd used to cry anytime a child of his age would touch him, so they tailored a style around his hoe tendencies.

Look at what Chino's right hand did to a big in-his-prime 140-pounder.

He's never gonna be in a position to get hit on the chin, but you can get the top of his head, like SRL used to say.

He does those neck exercises with that weight hat thing. I guess it really works.

Floyd is tough and has a good chin

Dude broke his hand vs famoso, and Floyd fought thru it

Jesus Chavez dragged him into a war and Floyd was tough enough

You don't get as far as Floyd has for as long as he has without being tough

Floyd was rocked by Shane, Corley, and Judah and took them all pretty well. I'd say his chin is an 8/10

and out of 45 fights and 100's of rounds how can you post him getting hit by a couple of right hands and call his defense overrated? are you serious? pep, whitaker, locche all were great defensive boxers and all were floored or even stopped...in boxing YOU WILL GET HIT

Yeah Floyd's chin is decent, pretty good. A guy like current Maidana is capable of cracking good chins though
