    You could sleep on Torres.

The only impressive thing he's done in his career is hurt Cotto and come from behind to stop Holt.

Holt slumped him in one Roun in the second one.. Awesome Round of course but still.

I think this would make a hell of a fight. Maidana's shown that he can get to speed at times during a fight and would make it exciting. Don't see him winning, but it'd be fun seeing him land from time to time

But, you just said you could sleep on Torres.

        Like I said before.

You're romanticizing a guy that beat up a garbage Broner, and almost got stopped by Lopez before that. He almost lost to a prehistoric version of Morales, and got schooled by Devon Alexander.

This isn't the era of Margarito, P-Will, Cotto, prime Manny, Clottey, Shane.

Hell, I think a pre Margarito Cintron would've beaten the hell out of Maidana.

You can think Maidana's some sort of legit threat to an elite fighter all you want, and I don't have a problem with that. It's whatever to me.

Just saying. Me personally, I don't rank him THAT highly in the grand scheme of things.

This is just a right fighter at the right time moment for Maidana, and you can't do anything but congratulate him.

Yes I would support the fight just as I support him fighting Mayweather. He is a welterweight world champion and has the earned the right to fight any welterweight alive.

Someone gets stopped I wouldn't be worried about PAC getting hit with head shots maidana's to wide a puncher pac would slip in and out all
Night with straight lefts and right hooks horrible match up for maidana. Only way he has a chance if doesn't just catch him is to wear him PAC down with body shots hoping to hurt him to the head later

Funny thing is, if Maidana gets lucky, floyd loses his 0 to a nobody.

I would buy it since Pacquiao comes to fight and knowing he would finally get another highlight KO. I like maidana and he would have a chance against Pac but the footwork and shots coming from all angles would be too much.
