(No disrespect to Maidana) I cheered for him like crazy against Broner, but he's more of a brawler than a Boxer, and his style will be ineffective against Floyd, He was schooled to death against Alexander, Khan exposed him and was even just Beaten by Kotelnik (another Khan's leftover) & (interestingly) has been floored more times than Khan considering the fact Khan was floored 3 times against Garcia just because he couldn't recover from first KD & showed a lot of Heart.

Khan is a excellent Boxer a Olympic Silver Medalist & won World Title at very young age plus an Excellent Amateur Record with a KO victory over Victor Ortiz. He is going through a tough time but I believe he'll come back Strong in his next fight.

Can someone explain to Me why that is? Maybe this can help you clear your vision.

They're all on the same playing field. Don't build a guy up when Khan already put them down.
And you guys want to judge on "the body of work"
Khan 3 losses
Maidana 3 losses.
Malignaggi 7 losses? 8 losses?
You guys really have that "what have you done for Me lately" wound up tight in your heads.
Khan is 2 and 2 in 4, yes he looked "bad" in his last 2 fights.
But you can say he should have beaten Peterson and got shafted there. Peterson is a champion. Garcia is going on to be one of the great champions of current time. And the other two fights are wins, regardless. And he destroyed Molina.
So Larry, maybe this will help clear your vision.
In my opinion back-pedalling for 10 rounds doesn't constitute beating Peterson so I wouldn't say he got shafted. It's also funny how it's only khan fans who think he beat Peterson? And if you want to talk about revisionist theory, what about Cortez saving Khan in the final rounds of the Maidana fight!? But you're right he did destroy Molina, but are you trying to say that means something!?

And come on if you think that. Maidana hasn't improved since the Alexander fight you're just dumb.. You say he's been knocked down more times than khan, but how many knockout defeats does Maidana have!? **** if Cortez hadn't protected Khan in the final 3 rounds of the fight I'm sure he would have been stopped by Chino!
You're right Khan has heart, combined with blinding handspeed but that's it.. He has next to no defence, poor footwork, next to no ring IQ (or any iq really judging by his interviews), has average power but thinks he hits like a mule and then we have his chin, which everybody already knows about!
My one gripe though with khan is that he comes with the most overbearing sense of entitlement, he's shown us nothing in the last 4 years and 6 fights to prove that he deserves a shot at Mayweather yet still thinks that it's his divine right! FFS the guy isn't even in the welterweight division and hasn't a world title yet feels he should be Mayweather's next opponent?
Why? Because he is a poor mans Manny Pacquiao!? Pacquiao's style may be the one that would trouble Floyd most but that don't mean khan will trouble him! Khan has a (in the most simplistic of ways) style similar to manny, but he has absolutely no substance to back that style up!
