Cotto should spar with Roy Jones to prep for this fight, he is big and has a similar style as Martinez. What do you guys think?

Martinez Will Get The Shock Of His Life When Cotto Stops Him

Say what you want, and 5 years ago it may have been a different story, but at 40 and a list of injuries not to mention he hasn't looked that dominating in his last 4 fights, Sergio will get out worked, drug into a street fight much like Cotto did to a more elusive Mayweather, and Sergio's corner will throw the towel in. These guys determine outcomes on who they used to be, not who they are today. Sergio will get old right before our very eyes, and take a bloody beatdown. Then he can go back to consider rugby.

Cotto won't be able to take Martinez's punches the way he took Mayweather's. Cotto pressing Martinez plays right into Martinez's hands.

Nice, but I don't beleive Martinez is as shot as he is leading on. But as a Cotto fan I sure hope he is.

Cotto doesn't need to press to be effective. Making Sergio come to him is the right move.

Perhaps, but with Freddie Roach training him, what are the odds he'll do that? And if Cotto does do that, Martinez could just jab him from the outside for a super boring decision win.

These ni99as is hype. I think they're worried, they are talking an awful lot for a team so confident in the outcome. Every time they talk I get more confident that Cotto will stop him. The pace of this fight will be unlike anything Martinez has had to endure. He got injured and beaten by a fighter who spent most of the fight unwilling to truly engage. Anybody trying to put some points on this?

Sergio took punches from bigger men like Pavlik, Chavez Jr, and others... have a hard time believing Cotto can hurt him.... But if hes not mobile he will getting hit more than usual.
