both boxer have their faults coz their of their ignorance about their contracts but GBP is the common denominator, they are trying to steal TR fighters which is still under contract.

After Floyd posted that gif of Oscar after the Canelo fight I think that was the last straw. I think we hear some very interesting revelations from Oscar after Floyd is done and ODL is done making millions off of him.
Well why not just not promote him??? KICK him to the curb, I know that Richard Shaf runs things as well, but lets be real.

      Problem solved.

Mayweather does not have the sources to promote his own fights with TMT promotions.

Read above. This is where the battle between the 2 companies originated according to ESPN.

I'm hopeful the cold war ends and they do so with a MOnster card in September:

Floyd (assuming he beats Maidana) v winner manny/tim

Danny G v Provodnikov (assuming both stil JWW champs)

        Mares v DOnaire
all roads lead to mayweather if he wants to fight Godzilla he can make it happen but he doesn't. all these guys are his pawns. mr mayweather tear down this wall.

Are you out of your mind?
Mayweather and DLH have a great relationship. Partly because they've been successful in business. It there were any problems they'd have stopped doing business together years ago.

Floyd has more than enough capital to get an official promotional LLC

This is true, he does, but I think more than anything Floyd hasn't broken out on his own as a promoters because he doesn't want to risk his capital in the risky business that is boxing promotions.

Boxing promoting is tough and has the potential to lose a lot of money. Just look at a guy like 50 cent, has all the money in the world but is still having a hard time promoting his fighters. Dirrell, Gamboa. Even guys who've been in the business a long time like Roy Jones who promoted Square Ring lost money doing so, and it is why he continues to fight till this day.

DLH did it right. He got someone who understands money and business to grow his company. DLH was the name on the company but we all know who is the one who really runs things. Not to mention DLH has able to pull a lot of hispanic fighters; who lets be honest sell better, into his stable, of fighters. I see TMT having a difficult time recruiting top name hispanic fighters to work with them.

                No CONTRACTS!!!

                anyone ever think of this.....

Goldenboy has been promoting mayweather fights for several years under a handshake!! There is no contracts between Mayweather and golden boy

in fact mayweather and de la hoya don't even like each other but they still do business together with no contracts!! I wonder why that is!!

                that's being professional businessmen!!!

                business is business!!

TOP RANK needs to grow up!!

ODH had himself. Floyd has himself. As long as they start their companies by promoting themselves they are ok because each is a huge draw.

Where it gets problematic is when you have to develop a fighter from day one or find a fighter at the right time leaving another promotional company (manny for example ging to TR from Murad).

THis is where you need to make sure you hire competent matchmakers and PR team, the people we never see and barely know.

This is very true. In fact Golden Boy had a hard time developing fighters and if I'm not mistaking it wasn't until Abner Mares became a World Champion that they had their first Champ whom they developed from day one.

However you can still be successful if you do what Golden Boy did the past few years and simply buy already developed guys to come fight under your banner.

The problem I feel Mayweather is going to have is in getting the young Hispanic guys to come fight under his banner rather than say Golden Boy.
I for example would have a hard time seeing a top draw like Canelo signing with TMT instead of GB.
