I'm Puerto-Rican in the sense that my father's family is from PR, but I've never visited the island and I rarely if ever speak Spanish. I don't call myself Puerto-Rican, but I guess the overall point is: who's to tell Danny that he shouldn't?

Danny knows more Spanish than Floyd knows whatever language his native ppl speak. If he even knows what country or language that is. My point is comparing a Puerto Rican American to an African American like Floyd is dumb. Danny's parents are Puerto Rican born, Floyd's are American born. Most African Americans never been to any part of Africa. Almost every single Puerto Rican born in the USA (with Puerto Rican born parents) has gone to Puerto Rico a few times in their life.
