Of course he was advised he would be facing Mayweather. So was Canelo before the Austin Trout fight. Canelo took it like a man and won. Khan sat out with fear of losing and end up losing anyway. "Mayweather is facing a brawler for the umpteenth time in a row?" Man get the hell out of here with that B.S.

So now Canelo is a brawler? Cotto is a brawler as well? You sound like a straight hater which you are. Canelo is a nice counter puncher who actually throws together nice combinations and is far from a brawler like a "Rios" or an "Angulo"

Cotto is another great boxer that throws nice combinations and is versatile. So Floyd's last 2/3 fights have been against boxers not brawlers like a Ruslan or something like that. I actually think he was doing great with Roach myself. Roach had Khans offense on fire, but we can't blame Roach for that chin. And if you look at Khan's last two fights he is still getting hit often.

But Roach was good for his offense I believe.

Khan really thinks, that Mayweather is ducking him? Miadana earned the shot at Mayweather by winning his last few fights. His win over Adrien Broner was the lottery ticket. Khan has not looked good in his last couple of fights.

Canelo since he has been on TV has always been a counter puncher and beating his opposition to the punch. The one thing that I find special about Alvarez at such a young age that you can't teach is his patients and poise in the ring. He had the right idea with Mayweather but he didn't have the skills to get the job done. And I believe in a few years once he is more developed he will be hard to beat. He by no means is a brawler.

"A pure boxer who can't cut of the ring and fight on the back foot" Zab Judah is not the best fighting off his back foot and he can't cut off the ring like that. Same with Devon Alexander. Cotto can fight baking up, look at him versus Margarito 2. And he can fight going forward look at him versus Mayweather. Cotto is versatile dog.

Marquez, is versatile and he fought Mosley his next fight. He dominates every style. Khan would get his ass whipped no question about it. Maidana is a much better opponent at this moment.
