Who is More Overrated, Canelo or Broner?

I'd say Caneo was more overrated, because Broner has fought better opposition overall in my opinion. Canelo's only noteworthy opponents are Floyd and Trout. Meanwhile Broner fought Ponce, De Marco, Paulie, Maidana, and Litzau was a legit champ and got destroyed.
Meanwhile Canelo won a vacant belt against a very undeserving Matt Hatton and defended it against a bunch of nobodies until he finally stepped up and fought Trout, which was a close fight
Both were overrated, but I think Broner had done more to earn the hype. I honestly think his team made a ****** move putting him in there with one of the hardest punchers at 147 right away
Both will still end up having great careers. Just watch

So one loss makes you overrated?
Probably Broner though, he shoudln't have beaten Ponce and got beat up pretty bad by Chino.

Broner has had no real step up fight that people thought he won, Ponce majority thought he lost, Paulie majority thought he lost, Maidana he true step up fight he lost badly.
See Canelo is really not overrated, he just is extermely popular because his mexican, young and was undeafeated till the mayweather bout.

I don't think that Canelo is overrated! Sure you have some dedicated fans that think he's the ****, but the vast majority of fans take him for what he is a good young contender that has good poise and is calm under pressure but has certain limitations like poor stamina! I like Canelo! he works well with what he's got and has created a great marketing strategy!
Broner I feel has been overrated from the beginning, he has some great talents, he's very athletic, brilliant reflexes and good speed with some pop to his punches! Unfortunately he thinks he's the second coming of Floyd and has adopted some very bad habits.
He's modeled himself off of a 30+ year old floyd who liked to walk opponents down in some fights so Broner has become a flat footed fighter and neglects that 130-140lb Floyd would dance around fighters with ease and still can when the situation arises. Broner also try's to emulate the shoulder roll and neglects some of the subtleties of it so his defence is far from impervious, it's downright porous! Add to the fact he's not at all disciplined ballooning up in weight between fights and has a lack of intelligence the signs weren't good from the beginning!
If he can find his own style I'd give him a decent shot of doing good things in the sport but he needs to gain some maturity and realise he's not gonna be the next Mayweather!
