you're picking out the weakest arguement available and using that as the basis of your rebuttal, also known as a strawman arguement. strawman arguements are arguements from fallacy, i.e. you have no real arguement to the discussion at hand (is Golden Boy trying to cash Matthysse in by putting him in a fight against a bigger guy who they're clearly trying to build), so you pick a weak arguement from another completely different discussion (Who could Matthysse beat at 147) which doesn't pertain to the core of this discussion: Fighting a guy who's bigger than he is, who has fought two divisions above 140.

here's the facts

keith thurman has fought at 147 and 154, two weights that matthysse has never fought at. he's also a natural 140 lb fighter and would be considered small at 147, similar to guys like bradley, mayweather, and pacquiao who you mentioned. those 3 guys are very similar in size to Lucas, but were also allowed to be groomed into 147lbs, Lucas has never once fought there

Also, if I were Keith Thurman I'd be pissed because if he loses then he loses his mandatory for the belt Maidana has/Mayweather will have after May 3rd

This fight sounds ****ed up on all sides for the fighters, it will be a great fight but I'm worried that they're trying to phase Lucas out (Maybe GBP feels he's difficult to promote, which is odd because he's essentially a 140lb GGG without his "0", but is a very exciting fighter like GGG)

I don't know now, Lucas is 5'9 and Thurman is 5'7-1/2 so its not like he is massively bigger even if Lucas is taller. If Lucas did go upto 147 it maybe a good thing, Maidana made noise at 147 and he is around 5'9 and didn't look huge at 140.
