Bradley's right: Maidana won't touch him. It's a relatively easy fight for Mayweather and despite Maidana's lack of name power, he is coming off a good win so it looks good. For all the bellyaching folks did about Mayweather fighting Khan, there's a reason that, despite Khan's bigger name and more drawing power (Mayweather is always out to maximize his money), Khan was actually a much greater risk to him. Not of knocking him out or anything like that, but of doing enough to steal a decision. An if there's one thing Mayweather wants more than his money, it's his zero.

Bradley is right ...
There are two possible outcomes for this fight, in my my opinion.
The most likely scenario is Floyd outboxing and frustating Maidana for most of the fight. Probably he will try to push a bit in the middle rounds and then coast to a UD.
In the remote case in which Floyd doesn't hurt his right hand -and- decides to push in the later stages of the fight, then I would not be surprised to see a TKO in Floyd's favor. Of course, it is quite unlikely.
Maidana winning would border a miracle imo.Comment

How do you propose making that happen? Floyd has to work for Showtime the next couple years. Arum is on record saying Showtime refuses to work with him. Sounds very similar to what GGG's promoter said about the potential roadblocks for a Lara match-up.Comment

No matter what Timothy Bradley says, Maidana was the right man for the job.
Is he going to get outboxed by Floyd? Probably. But so would a lot of other opponents. Khan would have gotten KO'd by Floyd in the 10th round in my opinion.
With Maidana at least for 12 rounds you have the perceived danger of him landing just one power punch flush on Floyd. The thought of what would happen if one punch goes through his tough defense and rattles Floyd.
Now will it happen?
That is what they're going to try to sell.Comment
