If this one hits a million PPV buys than Showtime and Golden Boy will have earned their money.
No one in the media will be giving Maidana any chance in this one. You look at the biggest PPV fights in the last 6-7 years numbers wise, they needed the media to talk up a competitive fight for the casuals to take notice. There were those who were giving Guerrero a solid chance and it did bad numbers in Floyd terms. Plus Maidana is not a marketable personality and there is the language barrier. Makes it tough to sell a guy the general public hasn't heard of in less than 9 weeks.

PPV's are probably not going to fare very well this year, but regular fights seem like they'll be compelling and worth watching though!

How can people complain about Flyd unifying titles with a Top 5 WW, coming off 3 solid wins???

        Ridiculous.
I doubt Khan is on the card all things considered.

It should flop because people are tired of who Mayweather picks to beat next. If it were Lara, Sergio Martinez or Pacquiao it would be a success because they present a true challenge. Too bad.

Who cares. As a fan I don't care about the business aspect as much as I care about seeing great fights. Mayweather vs Maidana should be a great fight.

It will be the most boring fight you've ever seen

They will have to say he's a different fighter under Garcia's tutelage.

                      Bradley vs Manny - A+

Floyd said that Broner is still young and has lots to learn BUT fought Maidana too flat-footed and said Maidana should have been a KO victory for Broner!!! Is Floyd a Floyd hater?

                      .
No Rios was an F....it was a scrub fight even for a comeback fight. Floyd v Maidana is a C. For boxing fans though like usual, Floyd-Maidana will be an A event with Bradley vs Manny a B event....

GBP always has a solid undercard....Broner, possible Lucas-Thurman, and Mares? There's nothing of note on Bradley v Manny...so event wise moneys worth it's probably going to be Floyd even with a weaker main event for fans of the sport.

Four fights worth watching vs one is a big difference.
