So that all it takes to get a fight with Floyd? Beat Broner, who had just moved up from 130 to 135 a year ago .....

Go ask yourself this. Where was:
    - Maidana a year earlier? Did you say that he will be fighting and beating Floyd in a year from now?

    - Same question for Ortiz, Marquez, Guerrero, Khan ,.....

Maidana was in 3 awesome fights this year and earned the upset of the year, and he was all over the web . He has a name now.

You don't think this PPV will do well?

If the PPV does well, it will be because they had to stack the undercard

        but

as a fight, it's not close to meeting anyone's expectations. I had a poll out the other day and only one poster was satisfied everyone else thought it was a waste of time!

Anything over 800K is a good PPV number IMO Didn't Mayweather/Guerrero do that? Didn't Mayweather/Marquez do that? or Pac/Mosley?

The undercards were far from stacked.

It's all relative but ..... I never care about PPV # .... I just watch boxing to see good fights. Maidana beat up on a 135lb to get a fight with Floyd but lost to Devon Alexander, struggles with Morales and lost to Khan.

So the odds are not good.

I dont really care either but Marcos was huge news this year so I think it does well. If they put a good undercard on, even better for me.

People don't pay to watch an exhibition fight. They pay when it's worth their hard earned money. They buy when they see a legit fight. A real challenge is what they want. This ain't going to sell coz maidana is too flat footed. He has no chance.

                This isn't ppv worthy.

I guess that's why Manny Rios did 400k ppvs, people don't want to watch exhibitions.

Deeply sad. What does this or any other thread have to do with manny or manny-rios?

You been salty as hell since floyd announced his latest joke fight.

Just using that fight as an example where spoons theory about people not buying exhibitions was correct.

Why would a Floyd fan be mad he's fighting?
