American boxing, what a joke smh. With your BS P4P lists and this BS fight, I think the US is actively trying to kill all credibility that boxing has left. The only thing Floyd is number one at is taking idiots money.
Those who buy this PPV are morons. Boxing in the US is following the path of WWE when it should be trying to emulate closer to the UFC model. Floyd even performed in the WWE and clearly learned alot from it. He disrespects the UFC but would never have the balls to compete there. I wonder if Schaefer ever took his head out of Floyd's ass for 5 mins would he believe his own BS sales pitch. But its dark in there and he lives there so we will never know.
I no longer have any respect for Floyd Mayweather or any of his fans by default.
Even real champions like Andre Ward are only looking for soft touches like an alcoholic Pavlik or non en****** bar the name like Chavez Jr. Right now Golden Boy Promotions is the biggest insult to boxing fans around the world.

For the love of god can these people actually make Floyd fight a boxer just once in these last 3 fights coming up. I mean seriously the last time Floyd fought a pure boxer it was Judah. I like Floyd, i've spent a lot of money on ppv's and even tickets to fights but the constant narrative of brawler opponents is a joke now. This is why the fights are so boring...I understand he doesn't want to take a risk but that's because the fans will accept anything now. Can we not find one boxer, i mean one technically sound boxer in the entire sport to put up against Floyd just once...even if the guy has no shot in hell can he face just one god damned boxer again? I like Maidana, i've like Maidana since he fought Khan but let's be real..if Floyd fights on the back leg it's a sparring session and nothing more. Not worth $70..not again at least.

Canelo is not a pure boxer..sorry but showing you can box in one fight your entire career does not make you a pure boxer. If Canelo was a pure boxer he'd know a hell of a lot more fundamentals than he does..the kid doesn't even know how to properly cut off a ring..and this is coming from someone who enjoys watching Alvarez but the closest thing Floyd's come to a boxer not past him prime since Judah was Cotto and the cotto Floyd fought no longer tries to box...he's a lay he hammer kinda guy now instead because his hand speed has diminished vastly.
